Why Lehi blowouts are different
Since the PI mainline stays under pressure, your system won't drain just because the season ended. If your connection valve is open, water keeps sitting in your lines. Close your PI connection first, then book your blowout. Lehi publishes a shut-off/turn-on tutorial for homes with systems installed before 2016.
When to winterize in Lehi
Utah County's first frost usually comes earlier than Salt Lake's, around October 11–20, and local guides put Lehi in the group to finish by October 31. Book now.
2026 drought season
Lehi began 2026 in Phase II of its water shortage plan (two watering days a week) after a historically low snowpack, and asked residents to hold off until May 1. Plan on similar caution in spring 2027.
What a blowout costs in Lehi
You pay $15 for each zone on your controller, with a $75 minimum: up to 5 zones is $75, 6 is $90 and 8 is $120. There are no trip fees and no "starting at" quotes. Send a request online, a local tech blows out your system on your neighborhood's route day, and you pay when the job is done.
